Event Description:

This presentation introduces poetry as a living, participatory art form rather than a static text on the page. Andi will share his work as a poet and multimedia performer and introduce Whistlets, a new poetic form that blends brevity and associative thinking. After an introduction and some examples of Whistlet poems, Andi will guide the audience through creating their own Whistlets in real time. The goal is to demystify poetry, lower the barrier to participation, and show how poetic thinking can emerge from intuition, play, and attention rather than formal expertise.
